At Stone Gal, we set ourselves apart by hand selecting our client's surface materials from the major supply houses in GA based on the look and feel of your entire project. We use our design expertise and years of experience to ensure the material flows seamlessly with your overall vision. Our designers also provide material selections, mood-boards, and detailed design drawings for your kitchen and bathroom project based on your needs.

Our designer stone selection process is complimentary and a part of what makes us unique. We take any and all materials you plan to use for your renovation and help select the perfect surface stone based on your vision, budget, and our expertise.

Basic Kitchen & Bathroom Design

If you have a vision or inspiration images for your space and are unsure of how to tie it together, allow our team to select coordinating materials that flow seamlessly & within budget. We present to you on beautiful "element boards" and help source your products. This includes 7 hours of my time. After that I charge an hourly rate.

Materials

We believe stunning stone surfaces are the foundation for creating captivating kitchens and bathrooms. As brokers, we work with most of the major stone supply houses in the state to ensure the best possible pricing and quality selection for our clients. Let our designers do the leg work and hand select the material that brings your project to life and elevates your vision. We are full service and handle template, fabrication, and installation, plus honing or leathering on select materials.

Quartzite

Natural quartzite countertops will live a long beautiful life, free of flaws like scratches and etching.

Marble

Marbles are traditionally prized for their aesthetic appeal. It is ideal for elevating the design of bathrooms, foyers, floors, and hearths. Marble has also become a very popular choice for designer countertops for those who understand the care involved. Due to their mineralogical makeup, marbles are more vulnerable to stains and etching.

Quartz

Engineered quartz surfaces are the ultimate combination of nature and technology. Non-porous, scratch resistant, and highly resistant to stains, they retain their beauty without sealants or waxes and are almost maintenance-free.

Granite

Granites are an excellent choice for kitchen countertops, floors, and other heavily used surfaces because of its hardness, low absorption rates and resistance to high temperatures. These are some of the hardest dimensional stones, offering high levels of resistance to abrasion, chemicals and scratching.

Onyx

Onyx is prized for it’s unique colors and veining, but is best known for it’s translucent properties allowing for stunning effects when backlit. The decorative appeal of onyx is unsurpassed by any other material. When compared to true marbles, onyx tends to have lower levels of resistance to both chemical and abrasion exposure.

Soapstone, Travertine & Limestone

Soapstone has a high resistance to chemicals and heat. Due to its talc content, it is smooth and pleasing to touch. Soapstone is not very hard and therefore vulnerable to scratching and abrasive attack.

Limestone & Travertine feature soft earth tones providing great design flexibility. Being of calcium-based makeup, they have use and care characteristics similar to marble.
